Meet Amanda…
I am Amanda Nagl, the founder of Unlocking Government. This company and its products are the culmination of a twenty year career in local government and restorative justice. Facilitation, mediation and conflict resolution are the primary skills I bring to any project. I have spent several years as a consultant and cheerleader for online engagement practice. I love public speaking and have been described as an “engagement evangelist.” If that is the case, then it makes quality local governance my religion. I would like to meet you where you are, motivate your team and design solutions that allow you to move toward increased levels of community involvement. I have combined my experience in social and criminal justice, community engagement, city planning and organizational development to create processes and programs that I believe can help you unlock new potential for advanced problem solving (or issue management for those problems too wicked to solve). Let me share multiple curriculum and training options to help your staff move the pendulum on community engagement. We will use dialogue and professional facilitation (mediation if needed) as tools to create a process that works for you, your staff, elected officials and the community at large.
